the OLPC is supposed to be readable in sunlight

http://laptop.org/en/laptop/hardware/specs.shtml

"Monochrome display: High-resolution, reflective sunlight-readable
monochrome mode;"

But I haven't had my hands on any of these - and don't know how well they
cope with diagrams and fonts - I understand that Kindle and Sony readers
aren't so good at dealing with formatted documents.
