The world seems to be gravitating towards upstart, which has some nice
features that neither SysV init or BSD scripts have. But then again,
it has a whole raft of problems of its own that make it unsuitable for
serious use. But it's what the distributions have gone with, so I guess
we're stuck with it. Sigh.
