We can organize the occasional installation meeting on Saturday
afternoons in the University of Westminster Cavendish Laboratory, near
Tottenham Court Road. There is some meter parking outside.
I am also trying to get a community based computer club started somewhere
within the London Borough of Ealing, possibly in the Hanwell Community
Centre. This Grade 2 lised building, the big old school that Charlie Chaplin
attended, is currently undegoing a multi-million pound restoration, and
Ealing Council want to install a large computer learning facility to be used
by the council during the working day, and which they now say could be made
available for other purposes including non-Microsoft at other times.
