I was at a hosting conf in the US last week, of about 5o+ Linux powered 
laptops, the distro's of choice were by far opensuse and fedora. The 
only ubuntu install I saw there was someone running it on an old 13" 
powerpc ibook.

Not very scientific - but i think it depends a lot on where you look.
