I can't comment on how well it would run Linux, as I have never tried, but
I am delighted with my Samsung NC10.  Even more so since it got an SSD a
week or so ago.

It's small, light, has a great keyboard, is kind to the battery and has
travelled literally thousands of miles with me since I got it.
