I copied and pasted.
It works!

=ACOS(SIN(RADIANS(51.543656))*SIN(RADIANS(C2))+COS(RADIANS(51.543656))*COS(RADIANS(C2))*COS(RADIANS(D2)-RADIANS(-0.254508)))*6371

The formula above calculates the distance in kilometers from a fixed
point in london (NW10)

The spreadsheet contained a list of postcodes and their latitude /
longitude bearings. Which I downloaded in CVS

So now I am ready to build a mileage calculator in javascript for a friend.

First time ever, I used a spreadsheet to help me do these things!
