George, I have installed many machines with PCI Express cards - the
majority being Infiniband or 10Ggig Ethernet adapters.
Now, regarding graphics adapters specifically there is plenty of
support for PCI Express.
With my own hands I have installed and tested the do

Nvidia Quardo FX 1700

Nvidia Quadro FX3700

Nvidia Quadro FX 3800  (which is a pretty spiffing video card)

ATI FirePro V7750
