[Gllug] Samsung Galaxy Tab

I'm thinking of getting an (android-powered) Samsung Galaxy Tab, mainly 
as an ereader, but also as a general mobile device, perhaps even for 
writing (using an attached keyboard).

Has anyone got one? Or tried one?
And does anyone know if there are any efforts to put other distros upon it?
