Was [Were - I am not sure] these emails in the queue before the change was
made?

I often see yahoo mail in my queue for a few days - their 'anti-spam'
measures are quite restrictive and seem to block my MTA ip addresses [for
numerious domains] based on
the number of mails sent within a period - eventually they mails get
accepted after a few days.
