Anyone can participate in the Austin Group, and anyone can read the
POSIX standard and its rationale. Who *cares* if you're a member, or if
you're 'certified' compliant? You can follow the standard and get all
its benefits (other than marketing box-ticking) without any of that
useless shit.

POSIX is the only thing the Unixlikes *really* have over Windows: a
standard that defines how they must work, which isn't randomly broken
without good reason.

(but, hell, I *know* you know this.)
