No no no no no.

It's "Oh yes I'll just go and get the householder, please wait, he's
in the garden".  Then put the phone on mute and wait.  Record so far
was nearly 5 minutes, although more commonly I only manage 2 mins.

I don't think I'm going to break the 5 minute barrier without
resorting to some sort of recorded message along the lines of "you're
breaking up, can you repeat that ..."
