[Gllug] Fedora: Disabling Touchpad

Dear GLLUGers,

I run Fedora 14 on a Dell Inspiron laptop and want to
disable the touchpad when I have a regular mouse plugged
in.

There is some information on Fedora Forum that was posted at
the end 0f 2010.  Has anyone tried this solution?  Is there
any later information available?
