At the very least they could support a '+' symbol. I route mail using 
simonw+source@ quite often, except the damned javascript will tell me 
"please use a valid email address". It IS valid you useless piece of 
sh.....

Gah, don't get me started.

Interestingly about half the sites will happily use the email address if 
I turn off javascript when I submit it. I'm half tempted to try little 
Bobby Tables but I'm too afraid most of the time :-)
