Just a silly point: you may want to check you actually do have caller-id
service before getting too stuck-in.
This is probably not an issue on BT but various phone suppliers (I know
Opal, and have heard also Talk-talk) do NOT supply caller-id at all.
Not even at an extra charge, last time we checked for our client.
