The diagram makes the system much clearer. Thanks. It would be better to label the router and bridge both as Wireless access points in the sense that these are the points where the wireless clients access the internet. The Wireless APs likewise would be better labelled as wireless clients.
So it would then make sense to say that the wireless client ( the bottom one in the diagram ) is on the same physical net as the dhcp server.

I'm sorry, I hope I'm not commenting on stuff you have worked out already

This is difficult stuff! Does the bridge have only one IP address, or does it have two; one for its ethernet interface and another for its wireless interface?
When you say the IP address of the ethernet port, are you talking about the bridged PC or the router? They both have an interface onto the ethernet.
