We have a vacancy at BlueBolt  for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator:

Skills:
* Minimum 3 years experience of Unix/Linux HPC systems administration
* A good solid working experience of programming (python, GUI, bash
shell scripting)
* Proven experience of building, testing and rolling out software
* Experience developing, maintaining and tuning LAMP technologies
* Good working knowledge of film, television and colour pipelines desired
* Some knowledge of Macos X desired
* Excellent working knowledge of high performance file distribution,
networking systems and distributed processing systems, preferably
gained at a VFX facility but other candidates will be considered

This role will require you to:
* Develop and maintain BlueBolt's technical infrastructure and
participate in major systems projects
* Oversee and perform general system maintenance
* Proactively seek out and recommend new hardware and software technologies
* Implement a creative, safe approach to automation
* Help support and develop production pipeline tools
* Monitor systems using existing tools and implement and develop new
monitoring systems
* Provide day-to-day support to creative and production teams with on
call support
* Prioritise, respond, and follow through on multiple requests
* Produce documentation for administration and end-users

Company: BlueBolt is a London (W1) based Visual Effects facility which
caters to the film and television industry
Salary: Minimum salary is £30K but is this is negotiable depending on experience
