Hi all,

Owing to recent ebay success I've just become the proud owner of a Adder
AVX4016 KVM over IP switch + 3x USB CIMs. This makes my previous pride
and joy surplus to requirements: an Avocent DSR2010 with 11 assorted
CIMs, mostly USB. I was just wondering, as this is a place commonly
frequented by London based sysops and other technical types who may have
computers by the dozen, if...

a) Anyone might want to buy my old KVM & CIMs. It's in pretty good nick
with rack ears if needed and comes with 7xUSB CIMs and 4xPS2 CIMs. I
reckon its worth about £250 (the USB CIMs alone never drop below £20 a
pop on ebay) but I'm willing to entertain offers in the region of £190
if it leads to a fairly swift London based sale (N16). It's also worth
bearing in mind PS2 CIMs for it are are really cheap on ebay if PS2 is
what you need.

b) Anyone might want to swap my old KVM for a bunch of Adder CIMs I
could use with my new one? USB CIMs are more use to me than PS2 (though
I could use a few of those too) and I don't need the Sun ones at all
(unless they also work with bog standard PCs - I haven't tried to check
if they do).

c) Anyone has a bunch of Adder CIMs they'd be willing to sell me for a
reasonable price? Around £15 a pop?

Also, I have an old school Adder 4 way PS2 KVM that's surplus to
requirements, only 1 of the 3 KVM cables I have for it still works fully
but these are totally bog standard and can be had for about a fiver each
on ebay. It's a good quality unit with a solid metal casing that has
done me well for several years. Free to a good home.

I don't want to pollute the list with much more OT cruft so it is
probably best email me directly if the above is of any interest, or drop
me a line on 02088065407.

Cheers,

Roger Heathcote
