Unless a track was written specifically for MIDI playback. Liljedahl 
wrote quite a few mod.*s (to my untrained mind, closely allied to the 
*.mids) back in the day.

Clearly the 400k mod is authentic in a way the 1,400k mp3 rewrite will 
never be. But then, I prefer listening to music on AM rather than FM.
