Tet's summary of the situation is spot on - McLaren Electronic Systems (MESL)
won the contract to supply the standard FIA ECU to all teams.
Also as Tet says the standard data capture and analysis package is ATLAS


How is the McLaren emthod inferior to what was developed at Renault then?
