Coreix Ltd, a company specializing in providing high availability
hosting services and solutions for small, medium and large enterprise
businesses currently has two vacancies for Systems Administrators:

Junior Technical Engineer: £18,000 - £21,000p.a

Technical Engineer: £25,000 - £30,000p.a

You must be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal
and organizational skills in order to deal with customers on a daily
basis. All candidates will be required to complete a brief (20
question) multiple choice test on-line to confirm their knowledge
before being invited to an interview.

Please note that these positions are strictly based onsite in our
datacentre. It is imperative that candidates have good spoken and
written English.

Junior Technical Engineer:

This role does not require any previous experience, a good
understanding of NOC and Web Hosting support experience including
administration of operating systems, network and database software is
beneficial.

Role Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills.
- Knowledge of Linux, FreeBSD and Windows Server (installation and
configuration).
- Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining common internet
services: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSH, FTP, SMTP etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues quickly and
effectively with minimum supervision.
- Basic scripting ability with Perl & Shell.
- Experience with installation and management of computing hardware
(experience with server hardware preferable)

Technical Engineer:

For this role we require relevant experience in administration of
operating systems, network and database software. The additional role
requirements will be as follows:

- Knowledge of hypervisor-based virtualization systems (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining common internet
services: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSH, FTP, SMTP etc.
- Installation and configuration of internet software: IIS, MSSQL,
Apache, MySQL, BIND, Sendmail, Qmail/Postfix/Exim, ASP, PHP etc.
- Ability to develop/engineer/recommend solutions to complex technical problems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively with
minimum supervision.
- Average to good scripting ability with Perl, Shell etc.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking protocol and applications.

Both roles will be based on shift rotas on a 4 day on, 4 day off basis
and will include day and night shifts, you will be permanently based
at our datacentre and will not be expected to travel as part of the
role.
