Trust me when I say that I'd start off the easy way and do the steps on
this page: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuLTSP/LTSPQuickInstall
After that, break stuff, and fix it again. When you get more confident, try
http://wiki.debian.org/LTSP/Howto
Then, you should know enough about the fundamentals to try crazy things
like LTSP booting via iPXE over the internet. I do this at the moment, and
while it is basically just because I can, I like the fact that no matter
which machine I use, I have the same desktop thanks to my trusty USB key
and the F12 key. ;)
