Hmmmmm - what are you doing quoting a bit of GPL code and attempting to restrict
who I can distribute it to by saying that it is confidential ? Is this not an
attempt at GPL violation ?
OK: I know that your lawyer droids have probably forced you to have the above
brain-dead email notice, but these damn things annoy me.
I had great fun with a bank a couple of years ago, trying to send me a contract
by email:
1) is this contract not supposed to be confidential ? So why are you sending it
by unecrypted email ?
2) the email footnote said something about the contents of the email being the
opinion of the writer and would in no way be something that the bank could be
held to.
I pointed this out and said that she ought to remove that from the email
footnote before I could even think of accepting it. This caused confusion, she
had never read the email footnote.
In the end I accepted something in a letter.
