[GLLUG] Video recording the desktop

Can anyone recommend a video recording tool to produce video tutorials on
how to use the desktop/program.

I have been asked to set up a Ubuntu box for Windows users (I have to
assume zero Linux experience). A couple of videos demonstrating how to go
about the work environment, open the file manager, and start a (bespoke)
application would be a lot easier to generate than having to type a user
manual.
