[GLLUG] Problems with CentOS 4 to 5 upgrade

Hello Chris,

Thanks very much for that. You read my mind in that I was also
wondering how to parse the "Error: missing dependency" log. FYI, I was
using "yum upgrade".

I will check the output again for another error I have missed. However
it seems my peers have spoken and discouraged me from pursuing a step
upgrade.

I looked into Fedora Server but the lifespan is very short as it is a
bleeding edge distro, Instead, I have recommended Debian Stable as a
solution as that is what I have used for many years and I know the
dist-upgrade to be very reliable.

In the meantime I was thinking of other crazy ideas such as a focus
hardening any internet-facing services or having another modern,
supported server acting as a "shim" in front of this one...
