It seems that your criteria for laptops are similar to mine: something small &
cheap to use when I am out & about; my desktop at home is more powerful, more
disk, etc.
I currently use an HP stream, 11.6" screen, 4GB RAM, N4120 celeron processor,
60 GB sdram. I bought it from Argos 2.5 years ago for some £210; it runs Linux
Mint nicely. Battery life: 12+ hours.
Avoid chrome books.
