Hi,

You are right Steve,

I back onto Abbeymead Avenue and have one of Telewes'ts little plastic 
caps at the bottom of the garden. Phoned Telewest but their response was 
your address is not on our database and we won't be doing any ground 
work for a couple of years.

As others have said, people are going to get fed up waiting for BT.

Pop Mail not working in Debian yet so yes from the other OS.
