Hear what you are saying, but it wasn't that. Stuck in my cdrom drive so I had 
both CD and CDRW and K3b is hunky dory now. Don't know why, but my system 
wasn't happy with the CRDW being both a reader and a writer. It's a happy 
chappy now though.
