Its very good news that the college is running Linux courses. The more =
mainstream courses that are run even at a basic level adds to the number =
of people who know that you don't have to use 'windoze' to use a PC.

There isn't going to be any more LPI stuff I can do for the near future
as I swamped with work.

The good news is that the college is going to be doing a Linux course, a
10 week beginners course and a 10 week more advanced course, a college
certification only from what I can make out (eg not an LPI or Linux+
course). These kind of courses attract people who have never used Linux
before so take the "advanced" description with a pinch of salt until I
can post up a proposed sylibus. I've been helping with course plans and
lesson plans. If you can use vi and understand how rpm works then you
will probably find the advanced course below you.=20
