You should be able to FTP to another of your machines (running an ftp server)
from the Zaurus. I have an SL5500 and the stock software wasn't enough I think
so you may need to download some more onto it. However, you will need ftp
capability for this...;)

You may be able to ssh between your zaurus and another machine. I can't remember
if Sharp's Zuarus software comes with ssh, but OpenZaurus (which I use) does.
