[Gloucs] Problem while installing Slackware 8.1

I think I rushed into it because I ran XF86Config, and just followed the 
instructions and I still have the same error now when trying 'startx'.  It 
says something like, fatal error, no screen found.  I'll read some stuff 
then try again another day.
