Now I understand - maybe its the clearer head the next morning, but not
sure I know enough to help.  hopefully someone else can.  One thought
tho' is you could use your P-1-200 as an IPCop box ( a specific disto
of Linux designed to run as a firewall only) to act as your gateway, and
to remove the necessity of running a Firewall on your main machine.  I do
this, and it runs fine on a P75, and previously on a 486 until
eventually it gave up the ghost.
