NAT should be affecting nothing here.  As for the problem, I haven't got a
clue I'm afraid.  I've never Windows 98.

Do you know which version of OWA it is?  Exchange 5.5, 2000 or 2003?

Firstly, I'm sure you would all like to share in my good news that I am 
now the proud owner of a broadband connection. WooHoo!

Now to business. Apologies its a bit off topic (MS) but there is a Linux 
  firewall involved.

Anyone successfully managed to access Outlook Webmail as a student from 
the University of Gloucestershire from behind a NAT firewall (Smoothwall 
in this case).

With IE on Win98, it all loads fine except the list of messages just 
displays "Loading".

Someone suggested it was IE, javascript and NAT related and that Mozilla 
might work. It did work better, producing the message list but 
presentation was a little lacking.

Any idea how on earth MS have managed to muck up this simple task and 
what the solution is? [1]

[1] With Win98 + IE - non negotiable :)
