Hi,

Just got news that we're allowed the venue for the 17th which is a bit
short notice but down to someone else being on holiday...

Venue: Gloscat, Cheltenham, room G121. Car park to rear. Just ask at
reception as you walk in to receive directions to the room (I'll leave a
message there). Wheelchair access, toilets, food at restraunt/bar/cafe
areas etc.

Things happening:
Talk by Paul Robertson who runs a small software development company
based in Stroud, writing mostly embedded and realtime software, and
works quite a lot with Linux.

talking on the following subject areas:
> A commercial CCTV system running on Linux.
> Cross-platform development with Qt.
> uCLinux running on Motorola ColdFire processor.
> How Linux helps us manage the development effort.

It's a warm room with seats for all and a great big screen for doing
presentations on, plus I know Pauls bringing along a lot of hardware
along to show.

Also on Sunday:
our weekly online LUG meets continue on Sundays 8-10pm at channel #glug
on irc.slashnet.org - (sometimes late in the evenings during the week
too.)
