Hi there, I just had the same problem. (Win 98, new 2.4GHz processor, Windows protection error) If you haven't gone Linux : ) or XP : ( this might help; I replaced the NDIS.VXD (V 4.10.1998) with the V 4.10.2222 version from my Windows 98SE box and off it went. Regards Graham
