[Gloucs] looking to create distro

Hi,

I'm looking make my own distro that can be installed onto hard disk. I'm not really interested in making a Live CD. All I want it to do is run Freevo. (www.freevo.org)

I would like to customise the bootsplash screen and also the default theme that Freevo uses. If freevo is packaged up in a deb then it would mean altering it after its installed.

I am interested in basing it on debian in much the same way that www.userlinux.com does. I guess it involves customising the debian installer. I'm not too keen on making my own installer. Is there any documentation on this?
