[Gloucs] Software Patents Meeting

Hi there folks,
This is a quick first pass to see if any others locally have been 
invited to the DTI/UKPO meeting in London Dec 14th @ 9.30am.
This doesn't mean invite equates to acceptance yet !.
The reason for this mail is I would have thought that some members might 
have been invited and might be interested in sharing lifts/info etc ?.
I live in Nth Wilts close to Cirencester.
The meeting as many will know is all about showing support for 
www.nosoftwarepatents.com or www.ffii.org.
For some who might be sceptical about doing something or anything means 
your worst fears might become realised if you do nothing !.
Anyway as someone who has been in the IT industry for some 20+ yrs, now 
scrapped but still helping out the voluntary sector I have an interest 
in the less than democratic process that is taking place and the 
"Restrictive Practices" or "Restrictive Patents" that "Software Patents" 
is inflicting on smaller companies/developers.
