[Gloucs] SSH client for (sorry to say) windows

Hi all,

I'm helping a friend setup a Linux server. For now, unfortunately, his
desktop is still windows (98) so for remote access to the Linux box, he
needs a ssh client with xterm functions too. A quick look around shows
that PuTTY <http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/> appears
to be a good candidate. Is this a good choice? Anybody recommend
another? Obviously, it should be free and open source.

Thanks,
Paul
