Hi,
I am new to the group, well this is my first post!.
Hi to everyone and I hope that I can come to some of the meetings.

I have been using linux of various distributions now for about 5 years. 
I would say that I am intermediate in skill level.
I have settled for Mepis on my desktops and I use redhat 7.0 on my 
server.

I have this problem on my server, with a script I run every night to 
backup one hard drive to the other.
For backups I am using rsync. When I ssh into the server every week or 
so and run 'top' it has several processes showing rsync still running
when it should have finished hours if not days before.
Any ideas on how I might track this problem down (no strange stuff in 
the log files that I can see).

I have attached the script file for reference.
