Hi sorry for delay in replying to post, I've been on road for past few days
and am due out for next few days.

 Great news:
Metapro has become the official Linux support specialists for Corega
 networking equipment.
It's in the start-up phase but basically means we configure and write Linux
drivers for their equipment and also provide training and support.
In return we hope to be able to distribute their equipment at discounted
rates which we can pass on to GLUG members.

I have some Corega wifi equipment that can be lent out for testing
purposes,
wifi access point and wifi pcmcia card.
I have tested and got it all working with suse/redhat/win98/win2000/xp and
am happy to help where possible.
I had problems with 128bit wep causing the network card to crash with suse
but it's easily fixed with rcpcmcia restart.

I have also installed a budget wifi ADSL router this week onto Glos Hydro's
Linux network (£55), it's running well but took over 4 hours to get
configured correctly.
The documentation was more than useless, as example they give the wrong
username/password combo to access router, I guessed the correct combo after
6 goes
but was more luck than anything else. My advice is if possible best to try
before you buy.

I have found Wifi is definitely worth the investment (no wires and freedom
to travel),
I have even considered sharing my ADSL connection with neighbours.
There's my 1p worth, good luck and let me know if you want to test run
corega equipment.
