I counted 16 - including one person I don't think we'd seen before:
Vicky, wasn't it? (I meant to mention your regexp t-shirt - chosen
specially for the occasion?)

The library seemed an excellent venue, and will be even better when they
fix the coffee machine. No speaker, so another informal chat, though
Mike and the Metapro guys wanted to find out a bit about us and to tell
us about their business - which gave some useful structure. Glyn made us
think about venues (he's still working on Taylor's pub in Cheltenham),
and nobody seemed too upset with aiming for a speaker-meeting every
other month with something more informal in-between, so I think that was
decided. Finally, despite Mike's kind offer to foot the bill for last
night, everybody wanted to give me money, and we covered the room hire
(+ insurance!) from donations. Somebody gets to go free next time, since
we're £1.25 in profit!

Paul intended to book the library again for Wednesday March 30th. We've
got a definite time and place, and two whole months to organise a
speaker, so hopefully we can put something together (one possible
speaker has already declined March, but is looking at his diary for
another time).
