Hello all,

I have a problem with compiling. When running ./configure it stops
when not finding libXext. Ok, I tried to install libXext-dev but
Synaptic wants to remove, install or update so much programs (ca. 30
different such like AKregator and Konqueror which is suggested to be
removed without a install or update etc.) that I think, it will break
my distribution.

I searched already the net, but could not find much help for this
problem...

Thanks for your help in advance.
Christian
