It looks to me like this version of the Nvidia driver does not work with
Linux kernel 2.6.18.
Have you tried searching the Nvidia Linux forum at
<http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=14>? I have
found that helpful. People sometimes post patches, to get the drivers
working with new Fedora kernels.
There's also a new version of the legacy driver -- see
