Hello All,
I have Debian 4 and problems with the K3B program. I have a single DVD
read/writer which is recognized by K3B.
I try to copy a CD which means, the Original-CD should be read,
ejected, a new CDR should be inserted and the CD should be written.
But K3B freezes my system completely when the Original-CD should be
read. This happens with any CD which I try to copy a self burned or a
bought one. The CDs play or open without problems on the system.
I had this with a other Distro before and solved this with installing
a second CD-Drive. It seems to be a problem with handling a read
process and a write process on the same drive.
My last distro Mepis 6 had no problems with this while Mepis 3.4.3 had
the same problem.
Helpless at the moment but convinced somebody can help here. Thanks
for your ideas in advance.
Chris
