Has anyone got any experience of these. There are quite a few on Ebay. 
The description suggests they are a cheap way of converting USB devices 
to Ethernet. However, my guess is they just convert between USB cabling 
and CAT5 cabling i.e. just convert the physical interface and not the 
electrical interface.
