[Gloucs] Live booting thumb drives.

If I may re-phrase  my query,  if I create such a device on my 64-bit machine,  will it only work on other 64 bit machines,  or is it "general purpose" ?

If you mean the hardware then no, you can put 32-bit or 64-bit (or any
other bit) of software on them.
