Hi Michael,

Thanks for that URL - certainly worth looking at.  No I do not have Windows or any other M$  software.  Been M$ free for about  eleven years.

Have you come across "clonezilla" ?  I have the disk here, but have never used it.  It can allegedly  replicate a complete system onto another machine.

I am looking forward to any future GlosLUG meetings at (former) Messagelabs.
