[Herefordshire] Missing hosts file

Hello everyone,

Whilst trying to 'fine tune' things, using Konsole, I was told to delete the
hosts file.  I was intending to re-save it with the details of my Linux and
Windows boxes.
However I now find that having entered the necessary details, when I try to
save, I am told the file does not exist and so cannot be written to.

How do I create a new file please?
