[Herefordshire] Firewall & router on Live CD

Hi there,

I think you named one good reason for live based firewalls, noise or the
lack of it.  Also I'd of thought they have slight edge in terms of
security (maybe, probably ;).  The reason I say that is all filesystems
will be mount read-only and so limit the impact of any attack, plus
simply rebooting will restore the firewall to full working order in the
event of a compromise.
