Nice to see everyone last night again.

I mentioned a  little about 'OpenAdvantage' last night.

For those who didn't hear, or couldn't come here's a bit more about
them.

OpenAvantage in Birmingham, www.openadvantage.org are a Euro funded
organisation setup to offer free unbiased advice and training to UK
companies.

They know their stuff ! They are always happy to discuss ideas and their
experiences on all matters of Open Source software and Linux.
They have a plush training suite in central Brum, and offer completely
FREE courses! I'm on a PHP/MSql course again today. You even get a free
lunch ! Generally they have to demonstrate that they are helping UK
businesses  in the West Midlands. 

Their facilities are second to none, this is no back street outfit ! 

With their courses they will also give you a totally free half day's
consultancy at your company. This can be on whatever you're interested
in in OSS.

Please have a look at their site, they are accessible, friendly and
don't bullshit you either !

PS Jono said today that they may be able to take their courses out to
the regional LUGS. So stay tooned for some events in the county
hopefuuly
