Hi,

I will try and make it, but we are upgraded to broadband on the 15th so
I may be busy trying to sort out that mess! 

On another tack, what is the lowest bitrates you have used on Skype?  I
tried the windows version around 5 months ago and the calling quality
was dreadful.  I was able to make lan to lan calls, however, quite well,
though not sure how easy it will be to demonstrate Skype features at the
HCT.

How are we going to judge who are and aren't members of the LUG?

The June meeting of HLUG is on Thursday 16.6.2005 at the HCT from 7.0 pm
onwards. Please note that this venue is now members only.

There has been some interest shown recently on the Skype free internet
telephone system. http://www.skype.com/products/skype/linux/  Hopefully
we can have a discussion on this, so bring your queries and knowledge of
this along please.
If there are any other Linux related problems, please mention the
beforehand on the mailing list so that those in the know can be
prepared. Please bring along any books, CD's etc. that you think might
be of interest.
